Piney Kahn / Partner & Founder
Born in Oregon to a writer and an artist, Piney grew up in both the woods of Oregon and on the cement of Los Angeles, California. Piney is a rare hybrid of hippie nature and post-modern style - known to be a bit of a chameleon. When not working, you are likely to find her watching an 80s film (preferably one with a “fix-it up” montage) or hanging out with her animals. Starting out in the music industry in Los Angeles in 1991, Piney worked at Capitol Records, then Grand Royal (Beastie Boys) and dabbled in the advertising industry conducting trend forecasting. Piney landed in the skateboarding industry in 1998 at DC Shoes, then Sole Technology (etnies, eS, Emerica, 32) managing Public Relations and various facets of Marketing. Eventually she went on to Media Relations at Red Bull. After working in a variety of fast paced and youthful industries, Piney returned home to Oregon to create an outlet for the thing that she loves the most: connecting people - and
milk milk was born.
